This photo shows the High Falls scene under construction. At this point, we had created the gorge walls from carved plaster, and the new scratchbuilt bridge piers have been installed. The girder bridge was made from simple Atlas N scale girders turned upside down. From a distance, they look great. The hole in the backdrop leads to Buffalo staging. The falls itself has yet to be made, and the tall girder bridge has not yet been installed.
