Kato Stripping

Well, so I tried to strip it. I first tried putting it in alcohol, then brake fluid. It stripped a good portion of the paint away, but it's time to start working on this. I could probably get more paint off if I did a few more rounds, alternating between alcohol and brake fluid, but I don't feel like spending that much time on it.

It does produce a pretty cool effect though, so I'm going to paint over it like this. If some of it shows through, oh well, it's cool!

Looks like a real sandblasted, weather beaten unit! Try giving it another go in the brake fluid, and a scrub with an old toothbrush afterwards.

I need to re-do the deck, because I painted the yellow safety parts first, but with gloss, and the blue covers like crap over the glossy stuff.
